Accpac Consultant Primary Objective Job Description Everyday
is an exciting challenge as an Accpac Consultant. You are an expert in
knowledge and experience with the Accpac family of products, which
includes Accpac ERP (formerly Accpac Advantage and Accpac Windows), ACCPAC
Plus (DOS), Adagio, and several other related and integrated products; and
are in demand by several clients wanting and needing help with their
accounting and financial systems. You must be able to meet the demands of
scheduled jobs as well as the support and sometimes crisis calls that
arise throughout the day. You
are responsible for supporting clients with their accounting and financial
systems. This includes learning and keeping abreast of new software,
updates, and technologies in this area, and providing services related to
consulting, needs analysis, planning and design, product recommendations, system
conversions, installations and integrations, data repairs, training and
ongoing support services. In essence, to Learn, Consult, Install and
Support. You
are a fast learner, continually learning and understanding new
technologies, as well as changes and trends with existing technologies and
its integration into the business environment. This
is a “relationship” business that is focused on helping people with
their computer systems and technology requirements so that they can focus
better on what they do best. We

have a good solid accounting background, and be very familiar with Accpac
ERP (formerly ACCPAC Advantage Series and ACCPAC for Windows), ACCPAC
Plus, Adagio and related 3rd Party products. Should have 4-5 years
experience installing and supporting Accpac accounting systems in network
environments. Product
knowledge and experience should include:
Must be familiar with and support software applications in multi-user networks and database environments. Accpac
Certification, and a business or technology degree would be a definite
asset. Preference will be given to an existing Accpac Certified Consultant
who wishes to join a dynamic group of Accpac Consultants and system
professionals, or an experienced Accpac user who wishes to become an
Accpac Consultant. Must
have good command of the English language, with strong oral and written
communication and interpersonal skills, and present yourself as a
professional. Must
have good organizational skills, be goal-oriented, and able to meet and
exceed performance targets. Must have proven ability to work with a
moderate level of supervision in delivering individual and business
revenue goals. You
must be a loyal TEAM player, dynamic and energetic, with a positive and
passionate attitude towards technology, helping others, and for individual
and TEAM success. Much
of your work is onsite with clients; therefore a valid driver’s license
